When I first demoed this tune with Midi modules/keyboards, I tried a bunch of sounds in one of my modules stumbled across a violin patch that sounded surprizingly good for the melody. Well, the sound and idea stuck, and I was able to use Ingrid Chun of the L.A. Phil. on this recording. Lately, Daryl S. has been doing a great job on it live.
